Dr. Shumin Zhang completed his psychiatry residency training at the University of Florida in 2010 and was board-certified in Psychiatry in 2011. He has various working experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He specializes in providing care and alleviating the suffering associated with anxiety, depression and bipolar in young people and adults.
Dr. Xiaoping Shao is a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist with many years of experience in treating psychiatric disorders for adolescents and adults. Her areas of expertise include treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, various anxiety disorders, ADHD, and adjustment disorder. Dr. Shao completed her psychiatry residency training at Harvard Medicine School in Boston, Massachusetts in 2005. She has since practiced as a psychiatrist in both public and private sectors in the DMV metropolitan area. Prior to being a psychiatrist, she researched brain development at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Dr. Hang Wang is a board-certified general psychiatrist who specializes in treating people that are suffering from mood instability, anxiety, emotional distress, and behavioral and concentration issues. She provides an initial bio-psychosocial assessment and then subsequent follow-up care. Her individualized approach of working with patients helps achieve her goal of improving the quality of their lives. She promotes compliance to medication regimens along with healthy lifestyles, self-improvement, and emotional support networks. You will find a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere through her care.
Faith Oh is the welcoming presence behind the smooth operation of our psychiatry practice. With a knack for organization and a warm, reassuring demeanor, she ensures that every aspect of your visit is comfortable and stress-free.

Welcome! To schedule the first appointment with us, please email us the reason of the visit and your past mental health diagnosis, medications and a history of hospital stays if applicable. Also please contact your insurance company to find out the copay and deductible if applicable. For insurance with deducible, we do expect you to provide a credit card or health savings card number to be stored on your file so we can process the payment after each visit.
